Important notice about “macOS Catalina”

The latest macOS, “macOS Catalina” will be released in the fall of 2019. If you update to macOS Catalina, “SP Player” will not work. Please refrain from updating to macOS Catalina so that you can continue to watch downloaded movies.

Since “SP Player” will not work, you will not be able to play movies.

[Measures]
There is no effective workaround, so please refrain from updating to macOS Catalina.

[Background]
macOS Catalina will no longer support 32-bit applications and will transition to 64-bit. Therefore, “SP Player” that runs on Microsoft Silverlight, a 32-bit web application framework, will not work after installing macOS Catalina.

[Future actions]
Currently, we are developing alternative players (64-bit apps) that do not depend on specific plug-ins such as Silverlight. Please wait for a while as we will try to start providing it as soon as possible. We apologize for your inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
